ECO-ADVENTURES - SPRING 2024Eco Adventures is designed for children ages 7 to 11, The purpose is to allow them to participate in outdoor activities that incorporate nature and STEM concepts.
This semester we will cover the following topics:
- Ornithology - Become a bird scientist and understand how birds forage
- Zoology - Activities that show how food webs work and apply them to our parks
- Conservation Science - Learn about how to protect our water systems and take a trip to a waterfall
- Entomology- Learn about insects in our ecosystems, observe our pollinators
- Botany - Dissect a flower and learn about all the parts that make them special
This program will be based around Georgia wildlife and ecosystems with an emphasis on Tucker City parks.
When: 5- week program begins April 6
Where: Pick up and Drop off at Tucker Recreation Center
Hours: Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fee: $65
