FODAC 18th Annual Run Walk ‘n’ Roll
FODAC’s Run Walk ‘n’ Roll is a five mile race (two mile walk) routing through Stone Mountain Park, starting and ending in front of Confederate Hall. The family-friendly event is one of FODAC’s main fundraisers. Participants can run, walk or roll through the course; wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are all welcome. The morning includes a continental breakfast, music, door prizes, clowns, and more!
WSB airborne reporter Doug Turnbull serves as this year’s emcee for the event.
Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with the race start at 8:30 a.m. and the walk/roll at 9:00 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the run, as well as for the top three individual and top three team fundraisers.
Registration cost is $25 (children 5 and under are free with an adult registration). Paid registration includes t-shirt and, for registrations prior to April 13, a Stone Mountain Park entry. A Stone Mountain Adventure Pass is available for an additional $25.00 ($29.95 regular price).
You can help raise funds for FODAC by setting up a fundraising team with people you know. Team leaders with 4 or more team members get a free Stone Mountain Adventure Pass; $50 in fundraising gets a free Stone Mountain Adventure Pass and $100 gets 2 free Stone Mountain Adventure Passes.
Immediately following the 2-mile walk/roll is the annual raffle; tickets are 3 for $10 and can be purchased onsite (cash only).
