As they continue to explore new partnerships, Tucker's Parks and Recreation Department announced Monday an agreement to bring free meditation classes to the patrons of Tucker Recreation Center.

On November 7, 2017, the electorate of DeKalb County voted, pursuant to O.C.G.A. Title 48, Chapter 8, Article 2A, Part 2, to suspend the Homestead Option Sales Tax (HOST)1 and levy an Equalized Homestead Option Sales Tax (EHOST) and a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) effective April 1, 2018.

The building permit process just got a lot easier for contractors in the City of Tucker. The City’s Department of Community Development announced Monday that it’s re-vamped the process, introducing “umbrella permits” to save customers time.
On Monday evening, Tucker’s City Council met for a series of second reads and public hearings involving annexation, some changes in the alcohol ordinance and two proposed zoning changes. First, Council voted unanimously to accept the petition filed to annex Briarcliff Village and the Michael’s shopping center.
