Polling places will be set up across the City of Tucker on Election Day. Voters across the nine precincts will be able to vote for Mayor, City Council and on the EHOST/SPLOST issues on November 7 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Tucker voters will have ample opportunity to cast their ballots early for the elections of the Mayor and City Council, as well as the EHOST/SPLOST votes.
On November 7, voters across DeKalb County will consider ballot measures that will impact their taxes, as well as potentially funding projects in their community. In Tucker, those votes could mean millions of dollars spent on road and drainage improvements, parks and recreation and other projects through the SPLOST.
Tucker’s City Council met Monday night for the first of two scheduled October meetings at the City Hall Annex. The meeting was highlighted by public hearings on three issues, a mayoral proclamation and a presentation on Tucker’s Parks and Recreation facilities.
With Hurricane Nate making landfall this weekend along the Gulf Coast, officials here in the City of Tucker are assessing the possibility of severe weather in our area.
Leaders with the City of Tucker are inviting residents and other stakeholders to a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday October 10 at 7 p.m. at Tucker Middle School.
