Tucker’s City Council held a two-night marathon meeting at the City Hall Annex to kick off the new year. The meeting, split into two nights because of the length of the agenda, was the first of the newly-elected Mayor and City Council.
Tucker's City Council met Monday night for the first time in 2018. In addition to swearing in the Mayor and three Council members, the evening saw the appointments of residents and business leaders to several volunteer boards and commissions.
Tucker is prepared to kick off 2018 by swearing in only the second City Council in the City’s brief incorporated history. The swearing-in ceremony will be the highlight of what promises to be an extremely lengthy City Council meeting agenda.
