Polling places will be set up across the City of Tucker on Election Day. Voters across the nine precincts will be able to vote for Mayor, City Council and on the EHOST/SPLOST issues on November 7 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
On November 7, voters across DeKalb County will consider ballot measures that will impact their taxes, as well as potentially funding projects in their community. In Tucker, those votes could mean millions of dollars spent on road and drainage improvements, parks and recreation and other projects through the SPLOST.
With Hurricane Nate making landfall this weekend along the Gulf Coast, officials here in the City of Tucker are assessing the possibility of severe weather in our area.
“Understanding there was a chance for winter weather, we began communicating with leadership at G-DOT and DeKalb County earlier in the week. We were briefed on their plans to proactively treat roads and overpasses around Tucker so as to minimize the duration of this weather event.
