Drought Forces New Water Restrictions in DeKalb County

Drought conditions across most of Georgia have worsened, and EPD Director Rick Dunn announced today that elevated response is necessary. Fifty-two counties, including DeKalb, have moved from Level 1 to Level 2 Response, requiring outdoor water use restrictions. An additional 58 counties have been included in the State’s drought declaration, at the Level 1 response level.
