After several months of planning and preparation, the City of Tucker officially assumed responsibility of the Tucker Recreation Center this morning. The facility, which is the most heavily utilized recreation center in DeKalb County, had been operated by the County since its inception.
Tucker is prepared to kick off 2018 by swearing in only the second City Council in the City’s brief incorporated history. The swearing-in ceremony will be the highlight of what promises to be an extremely lengthy City Council meeting agenda.
Polling places will be set up across the City of Tucker on Election Day. Voters across the nine precincts will be able to vote for Mayor, City Council and on the EHOST/SPLOST issues on November 7 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
