Building & Permitting

A Division of Community Development

The Building and Permitting Division serves to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public by ensuring a safe building environment. This is achieved through the interpretation and enforcement of International and State Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Codes, as well as other applicable regulations governing construction and land use.  We process permits, review building plans, collect fees, issue permits, and conduct building inspections. We also act as a resource for builders and citizens developing in the City of Tucker.

All building and trade permits can be submitted electronically to permits@tuckerga.gov.
