Public Facility Authority

The Public Facility Authority provides municipal financing tools for the City such as acquiring long-term debt. The members of the Public Facility Authority do not have a standing schedule and can meet for a special called meetings as needed.

ABOUT THE BOARD

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a City of Tucker resident.
  • All members of the board shall have at least seven (7) years experience in the building industry, with knowledge and experience in technical codes.
  • One (1) of the members of the board shall be a civil engineer having experience in drainage and structural issues.
  • One (1) of the members of the board shall be an architect licensed in Georgia with a minimum of seven (7) years experience in residential home design.

MEMBERSHIP: The Construction Board of Appeals shall consist of three (3) to five (5) members. Members of the Construction Board of Appeals are appointed for 4-year terms. When staggering is required, positions are filled for a 2-year term.

MEETING INFORMATION: The Construction Board of Appeals meets as needed. Meetings are held at in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 1975 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 350B. All meetings are open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend.

STAFF ADVISOR: The Chief Building Official shall serve as the Secretary of the Construction Board of Appeals.
