Idlewood Elementary
• Idlewood has had a busy month celebrating students and teachers. Recently they also held a parent workshop and new shoes giveaway, and ended the month with a lunchtime glow stick party to recognize students’ good behavior.

Livsey Elementary
• Livsey will offer the Girls Who Game extracurricular club again this year. This program gives young girls and underserved North American students the opportunity to develop their communication, critical thinking and creativity through gaming and the use of Minecraft as a learning tool.

Midvale Elementary
• Midvale recently held a reading fundraiser and raised 20,000 dollars, which is higher than pre-COVID numbers. They also have a new ukulele club.

Smoke Rise Elementary
• Smoke Rise’s Back-to-School Dance on September 8 was a hit as students enjoyed games, food, and dancing with their friends. In addition, they held Grandparents Appreciation Day, during which grandparents visited their grandchildren’s classes, attended the book fair, and took photographs.

Tucker Middle
• Tucker Middle’s football team is having a great start to the season as they are undefeated and are working to add a girls’ softball team to their athletic offerings. They also successfully collected 500 books to send to a school library in Botswana.

Tucker High
• Tucker High is celebrating 400 students who have made strides academically in the first few weeks of school, and they will continue to do so as the year progresses.
