Brockett Elementary
• Brockett served as host for the City of Tucker’s National Night Out Celebration on August 6. Hundreds of neighbors enjoyed a free meal and games, while getting to meet DeKalb County Police officers, DeKalb School District leaders and Brockett Principal Antoinette Seabrook.

Livsey Elementary
• Livsey students continued to Think, Stretch and Grow over the summer! Together, they completed over 700 lessons in reading, writing, math and science. This means 91 students will be awarded medals for all their hard work.

Smoke Rise Elementary
• More than 200 fathers showed up for breakfast on August 23 as Smoke Rise put on its annual Donuts for Dads event.

Tucker Middle
• The TMS Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club competed in July at the national competition in Anaheim, California. Under the tutelage of Mrs. Christine Mayfield, the students brought home two gold medals and a silver medal.
