Midvale Elementary – Tara Dougherty

Dr. Dougherty was elevated from Assistant Principal at Midvale this summer following the departure of Principal Debbie Satterfield.

“As principal, it is my goal to foster an environment that encourages the social, emotional, and academic growth of students, while preparing them to be globally-minded citizens. I will continue to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and community members to extend our partnership and support the Tucker community.”

Brockett Elementary – Antoinette Seabrook

Ms. Seabrook left her position overseeing Human Resources in the DeKalb County School District to replace Brockett Principal Venessa Bines-Truett.

“Aristotle stated that ‘educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.’ I look forward to working with the Brockett community to not only ensure that our students have a quality academic education, but that we also teach them to be compassionate and caring citizens.”
