Tucker Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Ratings

Overview

Project Overview

In 2018, Stantec conducted a comprehensive assessment of every public roadway in the City of Tucker, utilizing advanced technology to evaluate road conditions. The resulting ratings were aggregated into “super-sections” to help the Mayor and City Council prioritize repaving projects funded by SPLOST money. Stantec revisited Tucker in 2021 to update these assessments and PCI ratings. Most recently, in 2024, RAS performed a reassessment of all streets in the city, providing the latest evaluation of road conditions. Thanks to our annual resurfacing projects, the overall rating of streets has increased over the past 6 years from a PCI=56 in 2018 to PCI=71 in 2024.
