City Clerk

The City Clerk is the official custodian of the city seal and as custodian for the official  agendas and minutes, ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, contracts and agreements, and other city documents. In addition to these duties, the Clerk’s Office also provides support for the Mayor and Council, answers open records requests, manages records retention, , and oversees the qualification of candidates for municipal elections.

The goal of the Clerk’s Office is to provide high quality records management. The City Clerk encourages transparency and works to improve the function of the City by maintaining its  documents in a well-organized and readily available manner.
