Tucker Recreation Center has been a staple in the Tucker community for more than three decades. Originally built as an elementary school, this building is now home to a variety of sports, classes, community events and other activities that cultivate a spirit of togetherness for people of all ages living in and around Tucker. The Rec Center is home to Tucker Parks & Rec Summer Camp program. It is also available to rent for private parties or special events.

FAQs

Q: How do I go about renting a room for an event at the Tucker Recreation Center?
A: You would need to first fill out an application. Turn in the completed application and room deposit, plus 50 percent of the room reservation fee to reserve the space for your event. We ask that you try to schedule at least two weeks before your event.

Q: Are the deposits different for each room available for rent?
A: Yes. The auditorium rental deposit is $200. Our large sized room is $100. Our standard sized room is $50. Your deposit is fully refundable and will be refunded within 10 days of your event, unless damages are incurred.

Q: Can I schedule an event outside of your normal business hours?
A: Yes, we do rent outside of normal business hours. There is a $65 staff fee per hour in addition to the normal hourly rental rates. Our operating hours are Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Rec Center is closed on Sundays.

Q: What are the hourly rates for each room?
A: Our standard sized rooms are $40 for the first hour and $20 every hour thereafter. Our large sized room is $80 for the first hour, $40 every hour thereafter. Our auditorium is $120 for the first hour, $60 every hour thereafter

Q: If I need tables and chairs are you able to accommodate?
A: Yes, we are able to provide tables and chairs for your rental event. Any event that requires special setup before renters would need to provide a detailed floor plan. Any other supplies for your event you would need to provide.

Q: Since I’m not paying the full amount for the rental when I turn in the application, when is the remainder of the rental payment due?
A: If the reservation is made more than two weeks before the event date, then the remainder would be due two weeks before the event. If the reservation is made inside of two weeks before the event date, renters would need to pay the deposit and all fees when turning in application.

RENTAL APPLICATION

Rental contract must be signed no less than 14 calendar days prior to the date of the event. If an event is
scheduled 14 calendar days prior to the event, then the deposit and fees must be paid in full by credit card
or money order; personal checks and cash will not be accepted. No event will be scheduled until the deposit
and 50% of rental fees are collected.
