Season of Giving

The holiday season is a great opportunity to spread joy and holiday cheer. Tucker is an amazing and giving community with lots of opportunities to celebrate, give and receive with grace and love.

VOLUNTEER
ANGEL TREES

Angel Trees are holiday giving programs that support children in need and can be found at most local churches and some organizations like the Salvation Army. Each tag on the tree represents a child who may be lacking in holiday cheer. Donors can choose an angel tag, which lists the child’s age, gender, and gift wishes, and purchase the requested items. This simple act helps spread holiday cheer to children who may otherwise go without.

BLOOD DRIVES

One thing that we all have that is always in need is our own blood. An easy and free way to give back to others is to donate your blood with the Red Cross. Visit redcrossblood.org to find a blood drive near you and on a date that is convenient.

MAIN STREET THEATRE CAROL-OKE

Join your neighbors and friends to sing Happy Holidays on Main Street with the Main Street Theatre Players. December 12 at 7 p.m. and December 14 at 4:30 p.m. Plan to meet at The Corner Cup at the north end of the street. If they aren’t there, just follow the sound of singing!
