Public Works Celebrates First Year of Service

Fiscal Year 2024 is closed and one of the greatest accomplishments of the year was the addition of public works services for the City.

The Department of Public Works handles stormwater, traffic, operations and maintenance for Tucker’s transportation infrastructure. With an approved budget of just over $1.7 million, the City launched the department with over 700 inherited tickets from DeKalb County and closed out the first year of service closing 1,167 work orders!
