FIRST FRIDAY CONCERTS
The TKR Summer of Fun First Fridays Concert series is back! Enjoy live music on the first Friday of each month from May to September (NOTE: July’s concert will take place at the Celebration of Independence on Main Street held on July 3).
The public is welcome to set-up beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a scheduled 7 p.m. start time for the musical artists. Blankets and chairs, visiting with friends and enjoying a picnic meal are all encouraged, however glass, tables and pets are not permitted. A food truck will also be on site for each concert.
MOVIES ON THE GREEN
The TKR Summer of Fun 3rd Thursday series has been rebranded as Movies on the Green. We have selected a great variety of movies for the entire family and hope you will join us!

JULY 3 – MAIN STREET, TUCKER
Join us on Main Street for our annual July 3 Celebration of Indepence and Fireworks Spectacular! The party starts at 6 p.m. and carries on until they remove the barricades at 11 p.m.
Come celebrate with live music, a DJ, kids zone, food trucks and the best fireworks this side of Railroad Avenue!

Frequently Asked Questions
Are all events held rain or shine?
Our events are listed as Rain or Shine but in the event of inclement dangerous weather, we will cancel an event for the safety of our attendees, staff, vendors and entertainment personnel.
If we do cancel an event, we will push notifications ASAP via our website and social media channels.
Can I bring my own food to a TKR Summer of Fun event?
Yes, you can bring a picnic basket or a whole side of beef to feed the crowd if you are so inclined! We welcome you to get to the venue early to have time to relax and enjoy a meal with your friends and family.
Are there any options for food if I don’t bring my own?
Of course! We have at least one Food truck at all SOF events, multiple trucks at the July 3 Celebration of Independence and of course, all our fantastic restaurants on Main Street.
Can I bring my pet to a TKR Summer of Fun event?
No. Due to the number of attendees, pets are not allowed at TKR Summer of Fun events with the exception of service animals.
Where can I park?
Parking has been a major topic of discussion in Tucker, particularly with the ongoing growth on Main Street and the increasing number of events. In response, the City’s Mayor and Council took a significant step towards addressing this issue by approving a novel plan. You can view the Shared Parking map here.
About the Venue
Church Street Greenspace
Church Street Greenspace is a 2.3 acre open greenspace and the current home for many City events including the popular Summer of Fun First Friday Concert Series and Movies on the Green series.
The park is located at 4316 Church Street Tucker, GA 30084. Ample parking for events is available in close proximity due to the downtown location of the park.
