City Council Wrap-Up – July 24, 2017

Tucker’s Mayor and City Council wrapped the month of July with a brief meeting Monday night at the City Hall Annex. The meeting began with Finance Director Jennifer Davis reporting back to Council on the financial report for June.

Tucker’s City Council met Wednesday night for their second, and final, called meeting of the month of June. The meeting saw Council hold five Public Hearings on a range of issues from residential developments to changes to the City Code.

Tucker’s City Council met Monday night for the first of two scheduled dates in the month of June, taking on a packed agenda at the City Hall Annex. The evening began with a special called Public Hearing to give residents the chance to respond to the proposed “zero” millage rate.

Monday night’s meeting wrapped up a busy month of May for Tucker’s staff and City Council. Staff compiled the City’s first-ever full-year budget, a $7.6 million plan that was presented to the Mayor and Council.

Tucker’s City Council held its first regular called meeting Monday night for a very busy month of May at the new City Hall Annex. The meeting marked a first for the City, as Council held a public hearing on a full-year budget. The FY ’18 budget calls for $6,694,110 in General Fund expenditures, with revenues estimated at $7,634,110.

City Council Wrap-Up – April 24, 2017

Tucker’s City Council held the second of two regular called meetings for the month of April on Monday night, the first event held at the new City Hall Annex. The Council heard a first read of a petition to annex five properties on and around E. Ponce de Leon Ave. on the south side of the City.

CITY COUNCIL WRAP-UP – APRIL 10, 2017

Tucker's City Council held their first of two called meetings on Monday night at Tucker Recreation Center, addressing two key agenda items. The first was the annexation of the Masters Inn hotel on Montreal Road. Owners of the newly-remodeled facility petitioned the City to be annexed, a request that was approved by a 6-0 Council vote.

CITY COUNCIL WRAP-UP – MARCH 27, 2017

Tucker’s City Council wrapped their business for the month of March with a brief meeting Monday night at Tucker Recreation Center. There was one action item on the agenda, as the Council held a public hearing and vote on proposed amendments to the City’s Zoning Ordinance.
