City Council Wrap-Up – September 13, 2017

Tucker’s City Council met Wednesday night at the City Hall Annex for their first meeting of the month of September – a gathering that was delayed two days by severe weather. Mayor Auman welcomed two new faces to City business, administering oaths of office to Bonnie Warne and Steve Smith.

Tucker’s Mayor and City Council wrapped the month of July with a brief meeting Monday night at the City Hall Annex. The meeting began with Finance Director Jennifer Davis reporting back to Council on the financial report for June.

Tucker’s City Council met Wednesday night for their second, and final, called meeting of the month of June. The meeting saw Council hold five Public Hearings on a range of issues from residential developments to changes to the City Code.

Tucker’s City Council met Monday night for the first of two scheduled dates in the month of June, taking on a packed agenda at the City Hall Annex. The evening began with a special called Public Hearing to give residents the chance to respond to the proposed “zero” millage rate.

Monday night’s meeting wrapped up a busy month of May for Tucker’s staff and City Council. Staff compiled the City’s first-ever full-year budget, a $7.6 million plan that was presented to the Mayor and Council.
