At a special called meeting on Wednesday night, Tucker’s City Council cast a series of votes to deny the permissions needed to go ahead with an 88-acre mixed-use development.
Tucker’s Mayor and City Council wrapped the month of July with a brief meeting Monday night at the City Hall Annex. The meeting began with Finance Director Jennifer Davis reporting back to Council on the financial report for June.

Monday night’s meeting wrapped up a busy month of May for Tucker’s staff and City Council. Staff compiled the City’s first-ever full-year budget, a $7.6 million plan that was presented to the Mayor and Council.

The FY ’18 budget calls for $6,694,110 in General Fund expenditures, with revenues estimated at $7,634,110.
Tucker’s City Council held the second of two regular called meetings for the month of April on Monday night, the first event held at the new City Hall Annex. The Council heard a first read of a petition to annex five properties on and around E. Ponce de Leon Ave. on the south side of the City.
