It is with much enthusiasm that I recommend Kenna Smith for Tucker’s Citizen of the Month. She is a shining example of patience, kindness and dedication.
Kenna started her business in her house and it grew into something so much bigger. She ran into a number of roadblocks trying to open Custom Crafts by You into a larger store, but she persisted nonetheless.
Kenna and her husband Michael Smith moved to Tucker in 2012. They have been true staples within our community since and she was excited to also start her business within Tucker, the City they had grown to love.
Kenna is not a person you will see on the sideline. She is not only active within our community, but also in her children’s lives. She is room mom every year on top of running a local business. She is the first to volunteer or help when others need it.
She took a small building just off Tucker’s Main Street and turned into a beautiful farmhouse feel shop. She added touches everywhere to give it the overall ambience. Custom Crafts by You is such a unique business in that you can design personalized pieces of art that will truly hang beautifully in your home. Kenna’s vision and dedication has added such uniqueness and fun to Tucker’s Main Street businesses.”
